Car Pool Log: 2006 06-30

Got a ride from Hansel Honda this morning (see CPL: 2006 06-12). The car was missing the heavy smoking smell that it once had. There were three of us waiting for a car, when the Honda arrived. I had to ask the Driver if he wouldn’t mind taking someone else. I sat in the back, my first time as Third Passenger. Second Passenger proceeded to read her book, Front-Seat Passenger watched the traffic with his bag on his lap. Driver was wearing a bracelet on his left hand; it appeared plastic with something that looked like bone or barley and a piece that appeared to be amber. It was next to a larger, gold watch. We listened to the radio, 98.1, briefly but it was all commercials. Driver turned off the radio and we rode in silence for the rest of the trip across the bay.
