Car Pool Log: 2006 06-27

Silver Mercedes-Benz; gray interior, wood paneling. Sat in the front seat again. Dirty tissue below the radio, a cellphone charger plugged into the cigarette lighter. Leaf debris on the carpet, white powder-like substance on the ledge by the passenger side window. Listened to KQED; journalist discussing his experiences in Somalia. He had left just before a Swedish journalist was murdered near where he was staying. Traffic moved quickly; that inbetween state where accidents are bound to happen. One car tried moving into lines of traffic in front of the toll from the car pool lane. The fog hovered over Treasure Island like a crown of cotton.
