Car Pool Log: 2006 05-11

Rode in with co-worker, Ashley today. White Toyota Corolla with a stick shift, broken passenger side blinder. Picked up Second Passenger on Hudson Street; Sur Le Table bag and a travel mug of coffee. Listened to KQED on the way to San Francisco. After dropping off Second Passenger by the bus station, Ashley and I stopped for donuts at All Star Donuts.

Something I Wrote:

Dear David Holl,

Haven't you heard the one about the pail of water? One day someone mistakenly, without malice, dropped a nail into a pail of water. Over time the nail oxidized and rusted. The rust infiltrated and overtook the pail of water, browning his once pure liquid insides. Since then, no one wants to drink from this pail of water, look at it, or use it for watering plants or flowers.
